Hi, I'm Kamarra -

I've been a nurse since 2011 — working across Australia in emergency departments, intensive care, oncology, trauma, general surgery, remote and mine sites, telehealth, and humanitarian work overseas. I've seen what our health system does exceptionally well, and I've seen the gaps that good, overstretched clinicians don't always have the time or tools to close.

I’ve also been a patient within the same medical system where I work. For twenty years I lived with gut dysfunction, disrupted hormones, fatigue & burnout, impacts on my mental health, and test results that came back "normal" while I clearly didn’t feel that way. The answers finally came from looking comprehensively at my own biological data, and then using functional medicine to act on it.

That experience reshaped how I think about health and our medical system, led me to complete a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and it's why I now focus on helping women understand their own bodies through comprehensive testing, functional medicine evidence and a more proactive, cycle-aware approach to care.

I share the protocols I've tested, the science behind them, and the questions worth bringing to your own clinician. I'm now the co-founder of Solistic, a proactive health platform we're building in Australia to help people like you gather this same comprehensive biological data, and track it over time.

I still work in the Australian healthcare system, and I have enormous respect for my colleagues. My goal is to help move the system upstream, toward prevention, earlier insight, root cause testing, and more informed patients. If anything I've shared has been useful to you, thank you for being here, and I plan to continue this work as long as I’m able.
